Hello everyone,

I apologize for being away for a while. I've been buried trying to finish a new picture book, the second for me as author and illustrator. It's called "Bedtime for Bear". I'm finally finished. The book will be out next year. Here are a couple of the paintings. Happy New Year.

  5. Poor Bear needs a lock on his door... :)
Did you do the lettering for this book as well as the drawings?

  6. I mean, I know you wrote the text, but did you actually write it in? (Sorry if that's confusing)

  7. Congratulations on the book! It looks to be an action-packed picture book. Fun! Love your illustrations..and I agree Lizbeth Zwerger is awesome. I just bought her Hans Christian Andersen's Fairy Tales book and it is a treasure. All the best to you in 2010.

  12. Also, thanks for your answer... About the BW drawings I figured as much, but I never thought you'd use oils for the color illustrations, just gouache and/or acrylics. Gotta try acrylics now, I haven't used them in years!
