BEAUTIFUL IMAGES FOR SPRING

After enduring the long winter my kids an I have been enjoying seeing the blossoms and birds near our home in Brooklyn. It's reminded me of these beautiful prints by Hokusai. Years ago when I was an unhappy engineering student I fell in love with  Chinese painting and Japanese printmaking. It was images like these that inspired me to start painting. I hope you're all having a lovely spring.

NEW ART FOR "THE LEAGUE OF SEVEN"

I'm just finishing the interior art for "THE LEAGUE OF SEVEN". Here's a little peek.

NEW PAINTING

I haven't posted for a while. I've been consumed with finishing a new book. I'll post some of that work soon. I'm getting ready to start some new projects but I decided to take a few days and just paint, something I haven't done in a long time. When I do get the chance to draw or paint what I want it's usually a face. Here's what I came up with this time.
